Swimming

I used to be able to say that I can swim 1km easily. I used to be able to say that I'm good at swimming.

I'm no longer able to.

It has been more that 6 months that I actually seriously swam.

I headed down to the pool today, telling myself that I must swim at least 1km before I head for the showers. The warm up laps seemed fine, until I started my usual laps. I felt a pain in my head and ears after just 500m of swimming. I could not took it and I took a break on dry land, under the warmth of the sun. No, I did not lay by the pool side like the bunch of posers. They were just sunbathing like a dead log, hoping for a women in a rad red, hot bikini to pass by. I simply sat my the pool side to allow my headache to subside before I entered the pool for another 500m.

After today, I realise that I should really start swimming on a weekly basis, and swim at least 1km every time I visit the pool. I need to fulfil  my "theory" - If you can swim 2.4km, you pass your 2.4km.

And yeah, my skin colour remained the same, proves that I did not swim enough.

2012 (2009)

My Rating: 7.9

2012, a 2.5 hour end-of-the-world movie.

It was movie with a fair share of humour, action as well as touching scenes. The CGI was great. However it seemed to me that the CGI or the waves floods were much better to those of some of the buildings.

As usual, the main character never dies, but people beside him never fails to well, go missing. What a disaster movie without people dying?

However, it was a little draggy at certain parts, and a little confusing in the beginning.

Its a good movie overall, enough said. Watch it. $6 for 2.5 hours of enjoyment is sure worth the money. If I sat at a back row, my rating maybe 8.0...

Thanks to the OITP talk...

I realised that I would have a low risk of contracting cancer! Why? I'll explain.

During today's sharing session, some dude went up and started talking about his experience when he went for OITP in China. I was not really paying any attention so don't ask me. He later started to talk about what food can reduce the chances of contracting cancer, that got me interested.

  1. Soya Bean
  2. Wine
  3. Green Tea
  4. Corn
  5. Vegetables
These was the 5 things that he said that would help prevent cancer.

So happens that I drink soya bean everyday.
Wine, how can I resist it?
Corn, of course I love it, you guys know my theory.
Lastly, I'm a veggie guy.

Which leaves me with green tea, looks like I shall start drinking it.

I also learnt from facebook that staring at women's breast can also prolong a male's life! Another key factor for me to live longer and happier.

However, I also learnt that Soya Bean and Green Tea, they "kill sperms". I guess everything has its side effects....

At least now I know that all BTSS live a longer and happier life Open-mouthed

I seriously...

need to start some regular exercise.

During last night/this morning's cycling, I suddenly realised that my so-called regular exercise is not enough. The weekly basketball, daily pull ups do not seem to be enough.

I realised that I need something extra, something more intense. Not that the cycling trips are not intense, just that its not enough.

On the way back home from the ride, I was thinking of going swimming every Saturday. Why swimming? Because swimming is the only sport I'm good at, besides maybe cycling. I don't even consider basketball as a sport I'm good at.

However, I don't think that would happen. I'm far too lazy to wake up early every Saturday morning and take a train down to SAFRA for swimming. The idea of having regular weekly swims would most probably end at this post...

Just want to emphazise...

that November is really a bad month...

I currently do not have any idea on what to blog. And I'm just simple too lazy to blog about Jennifer's Body.

Just to touch on it briefly, its not really a fantastic movie. Guys would most probably be staring at her boobs rather than paying attention to the rest of the details to the show.

Watch it if you really love Megan Fox. Try not to watch it with your potential/current girlfriend/wife.

Have a nice day tomorrow since its Friday.

Holding Hands, 手牵手

Holding hands, it gives a sense of security to both parties. Couples do it to feel connected. Children do it to feel safe. Even during team building and ice breaker games, people hold hands to get to know one another more.

For me, I have not experience they first type of hand holding in my life before, not until today. Although it was only for a mere 5 to 10 seconds...

It was a totally random move that I just wanted to try with that someone. For that moment, I felt connected. I felt weird but it was definitely addictive.

"I was cold, I was sad, I was lonely. But when your fingers interlocked with mine, I felt that it was October again. Your touch showed me the light during  the darkest month of the year. You gave me hope. 深爱着你 oh~"

I finally understood why once couples hold hands, they would continue this until they die or until their relationship dies. I finally was able to feel the warmth, the joy and the love that this simple gesture was able to bring, even though it was only for 8 seconds (average).

Lastly, I would just like to say, 想握你的手~~
